BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I haven't heard of them, but I do try and keep up with the latest bands. I usually just check out what's hot on Itunes...

How about Placebo. Anyone in to them? I came across them recently and they are one of the best bands that I heard in a while!
I'm a huge Dispatch fan. They did more shows????
I thought they were officially on to "bigger and better" things now?
Last I heard about them they were off to save the rainforest or something like that.
They are a great indy band that should have made it big.

They just did three shows at Madison Square Garden. The shows were put on for Zimbabwe and 100% of the ticket proceeds went to the charity. They certainly played their "last show" in Boston in 2004 but they certainly did not move onto bigger and better things. They have small bands that play decent venues but nothing near where Dispatch was.
They certainly were a great indy band that showed you could make it big with a grassroots following and no big label interference. The proof of this was selling out the Garden for three nights. The amount of people singing made it electric.
