  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Does Mark Martin decide to race the full season?

What do you guys think? In the beginning of the season he was steadfast in stating he was not going to...now though he seems to be waivering.

He needs to decide before the March 25th Bristol race. Problem is, he is scheduled to race with his kid that weekend.

In an interview on NASCAR.com he indirectly attributes his success so far this season to the fact he is driving a Chevy.

He's dumb if he doesn't race. Of course, he was awesome the first half of 2006 only to fade away the second half.

I think he will. I personally can't stand him, he's always been a whiner! Shut up and race. Now, I really can't stand those that say "I'm gonna retire" and then keep coming back for more. Darrell Waltrip was one of those. Get your old ass out of my living room!

Martin says he had a lot of fun the previous weekend watching the Busch road race while cooking out with family and friends at his house. Said even if he wins in Vegas and is first in points will still only race a partial series this year. Seems like he is telling the truth that he will only race a partial season and wants to help his younger teammates. So me being new and the guy seems to be genuine, I have to believe him till he proves otherwise. If I were in his shoes, I would have to seriously reconsider also, who wouldn't?

I think he will stay. He has racing in his blood and it seems like retirement has been a hard thing for him
