allow shipping of alcohol. I tried to ship some today and got busted by the postoffice. I have some friends that are heading south tomorrow that I can send it with if they won't get declined at the post office while shiiiping it.

They will ship it as long as they don't know it's alcohol. Try telling them it's a snow globe or something.

Alcoholic Beverages

1. Packages containing alcoholic beverages (wine, beer, or spirits) are accepted for transportation only as a contractual service and only from shippers who are licensed and authorized under applicable laws to ship alcoholic beverages. To receive service for packages containing alcoholic beverages, the shipper must enter into and agree to the provisions set forth in the approved UPS agreement for the transportation of wine, beer or spirits, as applicable. The shipment of alcoholic beverages requires the use of Delivery Confirmation Adult Signature Required service requesting an adult signature for each package containing alcoholic beverages, and the shipper must affix a special UPS alcoholic beverages label to each package. For all U.S. inbound import shipments containing alcoholic beverages, the consignee must be licensed and authorized to receive the alcoholic beverages. UPS does not accept packages containing beer or spirits for delivery to a consumer. It is the responsibility of the shipper to ensure that a package tendered to UPS does not violate any federal, state, provincial or local laws or regulations applicable to the package.

Each state has its own laws about it, so just keep it on the down low and pack it well.

I've "heard of" people getting and sending it and not having any problem with it. They just had to make sure it was packed well.

If you can sneak it, it's great. Sending adult beverages via ups is Expensive.

if you don't need the glass bottle it comes in try putting it into a plastic bottle like lexan and wrap it in towels. I've been told it's done that way overseas.
