Ever buy a cigar that was so hyped up you had to have it, and you smoked it and was thoroughly disappointed?
Well this aint that type of cigar. The DPG 10th is an amazing cigar, definitely in my top 3.
Packaging: The box is awesome, and the individual coffins keep everything nice and tidy. This cigar came from box 65 of 2500.
Construction: As expected with any sticks in this range, flawless triple cap, seamless, and little veins. No flaking of any type. The cigar is of medium weigh and was firm to the squeeze.
First 3 minutes: Pepper right out the gate, and lots of it (like woah)
First 1/3: The pepper tone down a bit, and hints of leather and i could swear sour cherries
Second 1/3: The pepper is not existent mostly leather and caramel/toffee flavor with faint sour cherries. In the retro-hale i picked up mint as well.
Final 1/3: Pepper is back just not as intense as the first 3 minutes. Leather, woodsy cinnamon bark.
Strength: This is a medium-full through and through. Saying this is a full would be a stretch at any point.
Burn: Was consistent throughout the entire smoke, it was windy and still kept sharp. A surprising amount of smoke, not liga privada levels but close to it.
Draw: Excellent draw, where slow pulls rolled right onto the tongue.
Smoke time: 2 hours 13 minutes
