So if you don't have your Palio or Xikar handy, and you really need to cut a couple cigars for the ride home, you can always use the Powermatic 66 table saw, it runs about $2800.00 and doesn't fit in your pocket, but cuts perfectly, no tearing, no rips, even straight cut and the cap conveniently gets sucked away by the dust collector. Or, if that's out of your price range, consider the DeWalt 12" Compound Miter Saw, same results at a fraction of the cost, around $500 and it's more portable...the choice is yours! Of course both cuts are a perfect 90 degrees to the body of the cigar as well, no odd angles here!
