  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

HEY!!!! WHERE"S YOUR ANSI APPROVED SAFETY GLASSES MAN?!?!?!

safety first!
LOL, hey, at least I got glasses on. And Strife, no splitters on any of our saws, I know we've all heard the excuses, but we DO cut way to many delicate small pieces (that we shouldn't) to have the splitters on. It's to hard to get your fingers 2mm from the blade with those on!

So I was smoking a Don Pebin Blue Magnate or something huge like that last night and everyone, after initially glancing away with a nervous twitter, said I was overcompensating.

Naturally, I have no idea what they were talking about.

In your case, Wade, overcompensating is a slight understatement, haha!

OK, no camera tonight, but the band saw doesn't provide the best cut, but patience on a 16" disc saner worked pretty well. Not gonna try the joiner as I think it would be total failure and the CNC crushed the cigar before the bit ever got to it (there's to much suction on the bed to hold materials down)!

hahaha, it cuts mortises on an x-y-z axis, and the table can also tilt, all you do is clamping the wood on the table with those hold downs and then move levers left to right, in and out or up and down. it's almost like a milling machine
