  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pre-release sample of Drew Estate's Liga Privada T52. It is set to be release next month at the IPCPRA. The review is up on my blog and it is a pretty long one. The quick synopsis is that it is a very good cigar. Medium bodied dominated by cocoa flavors and notes of leather and pepper. The construction is impeccable and the wrapper is a sight to behold and oily beyond belief. Check out the full review on my blog...

Good review Matt, sounds like DE is making more and more regular lines; LP9, this, Dions, etc...

Wow, awesome review and a great story! Jon is a great storyteller, nice to hear that wrapper story.

Can't wait to try the cigar; I'm a huge fan of the Liga Privada 9.

How long has the Liga Privada No. 9 been out?

....what makes the No. 9 different from the Liga Privada line?

I'm thinking it came out early this year, but I'm not positive. And the "no. 9" is the only blend in the Liga Privada line-up right now, in four sizes I beleive.

Though I do wonder why Cigar Insider/Aficionado has not reviewed this line yet.

I have some that I know have been down for at least a year.... the line is called Liga Privada #9... I am unaware of a straight LP line...
I have had the T52 prototype...it is a mellower version of the #9 IMHO, with a chocolatey flavor that I do not get with the LP#9...

Ok, maybe where I got confused is this....

Liga Privada #9 has been around about a year, year and a half, is the Liga Privada No. 9 Oscuro a new version of the Liga Privada No. 9?
