So this is my 1st review, hope it gets in the contest too !!
My 1st lancero too actually .
Had a half day ahead of me in the yard so wanted a cigar that was going to go the distance , dug around in my 50 count desk top humi and this stood out.
So it's a Nicaraguan multi filler ( 3 different ) + Brazilian mata fina binder + ct river valley stalk cut habano wrapped Maduro cigar 5 different leaves here if I'm not mistaken . 7x 40 here goes !
Off to a bad start cut the cap and the wrapper comes off didn't cut to high either . Never mind bit of saliva and she's good to go ! A very easy light up , little spice 1st up some good smoke and a nice draw so not to bad after the initial stuff up.
Had this in my mouth whilst mowing the lawn nearly 20 mins only taking out occasionally something I normally wouldn't do and I'm enjoying the taste the wrappers leaving behind . Still plenty of smoke but the spice has died right off and getting more subtle coffee and other aromatics I can't pin point yet with my rookie palate .
Heading through 2nd 3rd Nice easy burn very even all the way , good ash . this being a full bodied cigar (so I read) hasn't really hit the "full " it's been quite mellow with nice subtle flavour of coffee cocoa a little nutty not much spice at all really im detecting hay/vegetal too, no no no that's the grass I'm cutting hahaha ;D
maybe it's mellowed from resting a year ???
More of the same through out the last 3rd of cigar now a little spicer though could've been coz I was drawing in quick succession here as the yard was done and I needed a beer asap !!
My 1st lance , not bad definately helped get the yard done will revisit one day .
Cheers
