  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

The cigar is beautifully box pressed with finely veined wrapper that feels smooth and soft to the touch. It was consistent and didn’t have any strange soft or hard spots. Unlit the cigar had a faint floral and cedar aroma. Once lit the cigar started off with a strong cedar and bit of leather in flavor. At the one third mark it picked up in creaminess reminding me of a cup of coffee with heavy cream, sugar and a touch of cinnamon. The cigar took me by surprise in strength, leaving me with a decent buzz. The ash was a gray color and a bit flaky, but need a decent tap to be shaken loose. I was impressed by the burn which stayed even throughout most of the cigar.

This is a wonderful Connecticut Shade wrapper stick. This is not your run of the mill bland Connecticut Shade cigar. It has wonderful complexity to it.

This is an Indie Cigar made by Sean Williams out of Atlanta. This is a very smooth cigar with notes of cinnamon, cherry notes, cream, and cedar spice. The burn was flawless and the draw was good. From a strength perspective this is mild to medium, but from a body perspective it is a medium.

I posted a review here. I'd encourage you to try this cigar.
