This is a review of the 2nd out of 3 cigars that I won on Fredneck's "484th post contest".
The cigar: El Rey Del Mundo Robusto Larga Maduro 6x54 purchased in September of 2004.
Once again I headed out to the garage to enjoy a nice smoke. This cigar has a very dark wrapper and an oily feel and appearance.
After cutting the tip with a guillotine cutter. I leaned back and lit the end.
This cigar had a rich flavor but wasn't harsh. The cigar had a pleasant earthy flavor but wasn't very complex. I would describe this as a medium bodied cigar. A very nice cigar especially considering the price that these cost (or in my case free). The burn was very good - I corrected it once about midway through with my lighter. The draw was a bit loose for my taste but the cigar puts out a good amount of smoke (which I like. )
I enjoyed this cigar but not as much as some others that I routinely smoke.
Thanks again to FREDNECK for this experience!!
