  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Anyone ever have one of these? I got one at thier factory in Miami. Sitting near Fort Lauderdale beach in the friggin wind smoking the Redemption. Fantastic cigar, some spice and leather and bursting with flavor!

If it was one that Willy Herrera blended, prior to going to Drew Estate, it is a damn fine cigar. I love the Lancero's! :cbig:

Willy is one of those blenders to keep a close eye on, hes going to be huge in the future. The cigars he does for El Primer Mundo the Liga Miami and Epifania are some of the best cigars Ive ever smoked.

I grabbed a lancero as well. Sandy from the factory told me Drew Estate will release a cigar in his name. I can't wait!

I have had the Redemption Maduro and Sungrown. Both are great smokes for the wrapper that they are paired with. I really liked the Maduro Robusto when I went walking around Calle Ocho in January checking out cigar factories/shops.

El Titan de Bronze.

These guys have done an amazing job. Just a small family business, with a great work ethic and Cuban Cigar Rollers. About the nicest people one could ever meet.

I met them through Gary Artz about 2 years ago, but found out later an interesting story: When Padilla decided to open his Fabricita on Calle Ocho to make cigars, he asked me for Mexican San Andreas capa to begin with. We selected two Super Selected bails for him that were 100% grade one and choice from there. After we shipped him the two bails, like 7 months went by and I noticed that the new little factory never opened. At that time he got into a war with the partner and shit got messed up there, but he sold one of those two bails to El Titan, which became the capa for the Redemption.

Later on, as I got to know the family at El Titan, and inevitably, as Willy Herrera moved to DE, we always got good laughs at how that Super Selected capa got to them through Ernesto. I wonder if they ever bought the second bail?

Good morning everyone.

Good information JD, thanks for that.

I haven't seen these, now I'm interested in finding some.
