  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Many of you know I have a cigar room... ( [ame="http://www.botl.org/community/forums/showthread.php?t=19845"]Finally I'm DONE!!! I built my detached cigar smoking room.... - BOTL Cigar Forums - Brothers of the Leaf[/ame] )

Unfortunately my exhaust fans are not strong enough when we have 4-6 guys smoking hard in the room, they work ok, just not as well as I want.

A new member here, rcfire77, sent me a link to this CT500 unit and I was impressed when I saw his guarantee and found many places/lounges use this unit....like the guys at CA ( http://www.cigaraficionado.com/Cigar/CA_Archives/CA_Show_Article/0,2322,1285,00.html )

So any of you have this or have enough experience to comment on it?

I ordered it this morn, but thought i'd see if anyone here had experience with it...

Wouldn't you like to know?
I can't wait tohear how it works. At our lounge we have resorted to 18" industrial fans for ventilation. Works so well you you can make the poor SOB with the comb over's hair stand up. Unfortunately we blow out a lot of heat in the winter so this would be a fantastic choice. And great smoking room by the way.

I'll def post an update after several uses. I know he sells larger, more powerful(and more expensive units) with same technology. Those are designed for bigger locations.

That's damn impressive! Great idea, wish I had the space to build something like that. Where in Cental Cal are you? I'm in Clovis (near Fresno).

Bakersfield. Used to live in Shaver Lake, so I'm familiar with clovis. Family lives in Fresno.

We use the room once or twice a week. lemme know if you wanna join for a smoke.

Love the Shaver Lake area! Don't get down to Bakersfield much, but if I do or am passing through, I'll definitely let you know. Again, grats on finishing your "Smokehouse."
