  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

This is a summary from the review on my site.

EO 601’s I’ve sampled so far have been well constructed and this cigar isn’t an exception. The wrapper is dark, a bit toothy, and minimal veins. Even when just testing the draw unlit I could tell this cigar was going to be a monster. As I expected the cigar is earthy with a bold spiciness. I was able to discern a body of coffee and cocoa while the bite came from cayenne pepper that ran throughout the cigar. The spice got stronger throughout the cigar, but never unpleasantly harsh. This definitely has more kick than the Blue Label Maduro which I think comes across a bit smoother. You will need to be a bit cautious with this cigar, as it is strong and will knock you on your butt if you smoke it too fast.

Read the whole EO 601 Oscuro Review.

If you like the EO 601's definitely give it a try. My only problem with the EO 601's is there strength. They can hit hard if you aren't careful and smoke them really slow.

Enjoyed a 601 Blue label Torpedo and it knocked me on my hind parts. Aside from the burn problems I experienced, it was a tremendous cigar, very heavy ligero. A definite power bomb which should be enjoyed after a very HEAVY meal.
