The cigars come in No. 4 (5 1/2 by 42); Encantos (4 7/8 by 50); Regalias Real (5 5/8 by 46); Club 52 (5 7/8 by 52); Churchill Especial (7 1/8 by 49); Predilectos (a torpedo measuring 6 1/8 by 52); Golosos (6 1/4 by 60) and Monumentos (7 3/8 by 56).

The EP Carillo Maduro is a maduro version of the Core line, slightly tweaked. This cigar is a corona size with a very nice rich CT Broadleaf wrapper with minimal veins. I have been a fan of the previous EPC releases such as the Short Runs and the Core line, not to mention they are easy on the wallet. Pretty light draw was a little tight with an earthy taste with a hint of chocolate to it.

Once lit the draw is a little tight but burning good. Hint of spice and that chocolate that present in the pre-light draw. Cigar has a good flavor to it and is very enjoyable so far.

As I get in the second third the strength is a solid medium but flavor has built. A little spice, earth, chocolate and hint of pepper to it. Nice rich smoke, I can all ready foresee keeping a box of these on hand. Draw has opened up a little bit and burn has been razor sharp.

Finishing up the final third is pretty similar to the second. Medium/full flavor with a hint of pepper to the finish. The tightish draw led to a slow burn and I spent about and hour and 30 mins nubbing this little guy. Definitely plan on picking up a box of these.
