  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Last night I had my first of the Eperany line by Illusione. I wasn't planning to do a write-up, but after smoking it I knew I just had to say something!

This was an awesome stick!! It was the corona size, and definately tasted like an Illusione, though different from the "original document." This cigar was a bit less full and rich, and also left my mouth less muddy afterward. As with other Illusiones, there was plenty of thick smoke and it was delicious from the very first puff.

There was a bit of sweetness to this cigar that I really liked, and I thought that was a nice addition to the Illusione flavor. This stick stayed very cool--despite the small ring gauge--all the way to the nub, even though I purged it once with only an inch remaining. I always love this quality in a cigar.

Although this was only my 1st Eperany, I look forward to getting more in a while (can't now--saving for the upcoming Tats). These will be real contenders for me against the "original document" Illusione line, I think.

It definately is a stunning cigar, glad to hear you enjoyed your first one....it was probably the Le Grande (6 x 46) which is also my favorite size in the line.

I just checked the sizes on NHC, and I think the one I smoked last night was probably the Le Elegance -- it was quite skinny. But I think I'll need to smoke several of each anyway :)

Seriously, this was a really great cigar. I have one more, the petite corona, which I'm sure I'll smoke very soon.

Different vitollas have different flavors based on the size. Always a great idea to smoke them all.
Very true.
The Le petite has more pop off the front and is just solid all the way. The elegance which I like more starts off more subtle but the second half of the stick is amoung my all time favorites.

I think Le Elegance may be my favorite, but I started today with Le Grande at the So Cal beach herf. Not the best cigar of the day, but a great way to start.

Cool review, looking forward to trying it.

I love Illusione! Just never got to try the Epernay line yet :( I should probably order that sampler off NHC soon.
