Last night I had my first of the Eperany line by Illusione. I wasn't planning to do a write-up, but after smoking it I knew I just had to say something!
This was an awesome stick!! It was the corona size, and definately tasted like an Illusione, though different from the "original document." This cigar was a bit less full and rich, and also left my mouth less muddy afterward. As with other Illusiones, there was plenty of thick smoke and it was delicious from the very first puff.
There was a bit of sweetness to this cigar that I really liked, and I thought that was a nice addition to the Illusione flavor. This stick stayed very cool--despite the small ring gauge--all the way to the nub, even though I purged it once with only an inch remaining. I always love this quality in a cigar.
Although this was only my 1st Eperany, I look forward to getting more in a while (can't now--saving for the upcoming Tats). These will be real contenders for me against the "original document" Illusione line, I think.
