  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hey there brothers. I'm very new to the world of pipes (and cigars for that matter). Anyway, I saw these advertised just around the corner from me and thought I might as well grab them. The two white pipes don't have any markings on them. They look almost novelty to me but again, I know nothing.
The other two however, have some faded markings and I was hoping those with some knowledge might know something about them? Any information would be great. Also, do they look like they could be salvaged. As you can see they have had a pretty hard life.
Thanks in advance.
Ben

Nice score! That Orlik is really cool. Love the double draft system and have been looking for one like that for a bit. The meers look like they are in great shape as well. Shouldn't be too hard of a resto job either, though if you've never done one I suggest reading up and getting some cheap throw away estates from fleabay to practice on. Feel free to PM me if you need any help.

Thanks guys. I will certainly do my research before I get stuck into restoring them. Won't be doing anything for a while as I'm getting surgery on my wrist so it will give me plenty of time to read up.

Those look like meer cigar holders to me, but again I'm another new guy and could be wrong. Good job picking up the group! Like @stin187 said (after your surgery/recovery) pick up some cheapies and practice restoring. Then you'll have a few pipes you are really proud of
