  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Today I had a chance to sit down a smoke my first Famous Nic 3000 (Thanks jeremy). I've heard here and there this was a great full bodied smoke for a superb price. It was accompanied by a Sam Adams Summer Ale. This is the second box pressed cigar I've smoked and I have to say that I like the feel of a box pressed cigar. It was a nice dark wrapper with a pleasant aroma to it. Had a great draw to it, not too tight but not too loose, just tight enough to have to pull but with very little effort. It lit really well but had some minor burn problems after every ash which I did twice. The cigar itself was a really heavy full bodied smoke. Being a n00b, I won't try to describe the smoke in terms of what flavors I detected but I can tell you I liked the flavor profile alot. Maybe it was the empty stomach or my newbie status, but this cigar really hit me hard, :eyequiver. Even with that, I still really enjoyed this cigar and for the price it makes it that much more appealing. So I hope you guys enjoyed my first review and hopefully the later ones will be a bit more refined.
