  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Anything you enjoy smoking really. I don't think there is really an answer to that IMO, on vacation I try to smoke good stuff whether it's the beach, the golf course or wherever.

I am so busy today, but cant resist responding to this one, cause I love fishing in the channel with a Lancero. Preferably, a Illusione, Pepin, or now, the 107's and L40's.

Best,
JDrew

I can't wait for the L-40. I'm hooked on T-52's now because I can't score any LP9's. It's not a bad thing as I have come to love the T-52.

I wouldn't take anything too expensive (Behike) becaue of the wind/elements ... a good smoke in the $5-8 range like the La Aurora 107 or Guillermo Leon would work well for me.
Yes, make sure thee is not a lot of wind. The last few times I was on vacation at a beach the wind mae it dificult to smoke.

What he said. I typically bring some of my better or htf stuff. If I'm going to be on the beach looking at girls in bikinis, mirrored sunglasses are your best friend - recommend THESE with blue mirrors, I want to enjoy the whole experience.

Just smoke what ever cigar you already enjoy smoking in a vitola that will stand up better in windy conditions. Something with a bigger ring gauge in my opinion would work better. Just my opinion though.

The wind will not be your friend brother, but I smoke on the beach all the time. I say go for whatever you like most and don't be afraid to re-light.
The beach has to be my favorite place to smoke... Something about the wind, the sand, and the sight and smell of the ocean seem to make the experience all the more enjoyable!

For me, usually a smaller rg is better for windy conditions, such as the beach. Re-lights are much easier, and if it burns a little crooked touchups are much easier as well.

I can't imagine smoking a 60 rg (not that I ever anyways) if it starts burning crooked, canoeing, etc.
