  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

As far as CC's go, I have always been a fan of the belicoso, churchill and double corona. These were my cigars before joining this site. Since then, you guys have shown me the world of the petit corona and smaller gauges.

My question is what are your top three to five favorite small cigars?

In order, for me:

V.R. Clasico
R.G. Lonsdale
HDM Des Dieux
Partagas Short
Diplomaticos #4

I too, prefer the larger gauges as a general rule, but have found the above to be quite excellent!

I have less time to relax and smoke. The smaller length sticks I can also smoke to and from work, giving me 45-60 minutes twice a day.
So far for me, this is my ranking an most are pretty close to one another:
PL PC
Partagas Shorts
Hoyo du Prince
Boli CJ
SCdlH El Principle
Boli PC
RyJ PC

Never had an RASCC, but think that would make the list somewhere as well.

Well, I used to be strictly a larger ring guy, and that's still the preference in NC smokes. However, in CC it's:

Boli PC
Boli CJ
RASCC
Party Shorts

I love the flavor in CC's smaller smokes! Think I'll go have one!

I would have to say that trini Reyes has replaced Party shorts at the top of the list.

And a close third is Bolivar coronas junior.

Gonna have a BCJ today due to the fact #1 and #2 are out of stock in my humidor right now.

I actually prefer the smaller gauged cigars. I'm not sure why, it's just my preference.

1) VR Clasico- Hands down my favorite cigar.
2) Partagas Charlottes
3) Party Short
4) RASCC
5) RYJ Corona

I did a rough count of those mentioned more than once, here's what I found:

Boli PC – 4
HdM du Prince – 2
Partagas Short – 7
Trini Reyes – 4
Boli CJ – 3
RASS – 1
RASCC - 2

I appreciate this post. As a newbie I'm still trying to find what I like, and knowing what everyone else enjoys gives me a good starting point. Looks like the Shorts (one I've tried, and loved), are most popular, followed by the Boli PC and the Trini Reyes. I enjoyed my first Trini Reyes the other night and it too was a great cigar.
