Has anyone tried these? Bundles of 20 go for $40 on CI and Ive seen them as low as $30 on CBID. They are 4.5x60 and im a big fan of big ring guages so i was thinking of giving them a shot.

I've seen them, but never tried them. I have had some other stuff by Felipe and liked it though. Not sure that helps, why not get some singes to try on Cbid before committing to a box :dunno:.

I actually ended up grabbing a bundle of Bahia red labels instead. They are some ugly cigars and theres certainly some construction issues but the flavor is suprisingly not bad and despite the cosmetic issues each one has smoked well. A good daily smoke a $2 a piece. Ill probably end up giving the fat boys a shot as well just for kicks. Have you tried the Bahias? Ill send you a few to try out if you havent had them.

The Bahia's look good to me in the catalog. I used to smoke a lot of the Bahia Blue Robusto's. Went thought 2 bundles in a month and a half, but haven't revisited...

No I haven't tried the Bahia's!

It's so weird that you mention the construction issues and "ugliness" of them in person, because in the catalogue they look absolutely scrumptious.

I'm guessing CI has some photoshop skills. Some of their cheap sticks look too damn good to be $1.50-$2 sticks.

Yea these reds arent too shabby, I think with a year+ on them they're going to be a suprisingly good smoke. Like I said though they are very ugly, you can see why they are cheap. But for $2 a stick compromise has to be made somewhere.

Yea they look real good in the catalog but in person not so much. Large veins and you can see all the seams. PM me your address and Ill send you a few, it'll be cool to read one of your reviews on them.
