  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

This winter hasn't been much like winter really here in the Midwest. Had a very Non-White Christmas, which was just not very pretty. I like snow and if I didn't I wouldn't live here, period! Hell I make some good coin when it snows:grin: They were calling for a really bad winter but so far, nah... But you never know we're only a third of the way through. So what are some of your opinions on weather predictions? I've always thought the Farmers Almanac was like the Bible to many and I'd say so far they have been SO WRONG!

So far it has been wrong....but one snow like the one that shut down Lake Shore will change that quickly.

I love the snow!!!! Can't wait for it to hit....should be soon.

Glad I wasn't caught in this last year:

That was incredible last year, loved it reminded me of my childhood with the old snowfalls. I use to sled off my garage roof into the alley because my Dad would pile the snow up to make a sledding hill. I've got a buddy who is a Chicago fireman and the stories he told of the rescue work last year are simply awesome. They strapped a 500lb man to the front bumper/ledge of the fire engine cuz he was to fat to fit inside, lmao! But hey at least he was rescued, right?

Have to agree with Marty, I Lived in Northern MN for 9 years, Asshole deep snow, Snow on the ground from Nov-april, -20's for Temps.....I hope u guys enjoy the white stuff .......

Exactly... I left after college and never looked back. Went from freezing my ass off to the sunny beaches, but now I'm getting rained on all winter!?! :scratchhe Oh well, at least the snow skiing is great around here and I can choose when I want to see snow.
