Curiosity got the best of me after the Pittsburgh herf and I finally decided to dig through the beer collection..

back in 07/08/09 I collected craft beers, got away from it and the stuffs been sitting in the cellar ever since. Thought I'd snap a few photos for the craft beer heads while I was at it

all 08's only one worth mentioning is probably the Black Albert

08 East End brewing toaster RIS and Homewood reserve (black strap stout aged in bourbon barrels). the Unlabeled bottle is the first run of voodoo brewing Black Magick, and Penn Brewery St. Nick Brewers reserve first batch.

Thomas Hardy is an 05 self waxed, KBS's are 07 and 08 I believe.

Bullfrog Brewing and the 1st and 2nd runs of East End Smokestack Heritage Porter @apnutter, thats the ones that taste like bacon

Into some of the better stuff now: 07,08 and 09 3F Dark Lord and an 08 Portsmouth Brewing Kate The Great

Pannepot 06 and Weyerbacher Riserva

07 GI bcbs and some others

08 Foothills Brewing Sexual Chocolate #'d to 600, 08 Speedway Stout 08 Lost Abbey Angels Share(not sure if bourbon or brandy barrel)

Stone Bitter Chocolate oatmel stout, 07 and 08 Surly Darkness, 07 Abyss

Firestone 11th and 12th

and finally, probably my favorite from the collection, 05-08 East End Brewing Gratitude

One of these days I may actually drink a few

Nice man! I've always been a beer drinker but didn't even know about cellaring good crafts until about a year ago. I have a few bottle set up and hope to keep growing it

It was fun while it lasted but I got caught up in chasing down the white whale releases and got burned out on that. Luckily I was into the big ABV RIS's so they'll hold up to age a bit longer. 1-2 times a year I grab a few to try. Its always interesting to see how they age

Yea I haven't gotten deep enough to even know of many white whales really. There are a few cellar worthy ones I know of so I try to grab a few of those. One to drink and a couple to put up

Nice. I see KTG in there. Did you go to the release for Smoke from the Oak? I used to go for those and the cuvee de castleton.
Unfortunately no. Everything outside of the PA beers were traded for. I always wanted to make it to 3F for dark lord day but never got the chance

I feel those beers would be fun to drink but most would be a shell of their former self.

Post up when you open any, would love to hear how they fared.

Yeah, I have no idea what any of those are. Except for the Bear Republic Stout, that's the only one I've had.

Looks like a good collection though.
