Hey everyone,
My name is Matthias and a few months ago I started an organization called FineTobaccoNYC. What originally brought me to the idea was the frustration in the cigar community surrounding the impossibility of getting together in NYC at any given time, either for scheduling, budgeting, or city-regulation reasons. My basic purpose is to be an event organizer for cigar smokers in the city, and to set up events that are welcoming to cigar smokers of all age groups and budgets, but also events that offer special deals and other attractions like live professional cigar rolling.
We recently held our first event on the roof of my Financial District apartment, and it was a massive success. We had cigar smokers from all over the city (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, even New Jersey), and even had a professional cigar roller come in and roll guests fresh cigars for free. Our next event, held in Brooklyn, is coming up on Friday, Sept. 17th. I'd like to cordially invite all NYC cigar lovers to the event at Caballeros Cigar Lounge which will feature live cigar rolling, 25% off cigar bundles/accessories, and a cigar raffle for free stuff. Dress code is business casual, and other details will follow after RSVPing.
If you are unable to make this event, that's ok! FTNYC will be holding events all through the year at different locations around the city.
