  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I took advantage of the beautiful weather today to do a little fishing. I hit my first catch of the season off of a new spinner type lure. I enjoyed the day in the middle of the river smoking a EL #4 & chasing trout.

Nah, I threw him back. He was just big enough to keep. But by August he'll be much bigger. The amount of meat I'd get off of him didn't make it worth ending his life. There will be plenty more to grill this year.

Me any my cuzin are going fishing up in point arena, CA this saturday.. i guess the fish are biting like no other out there right now but everytime i hear that i get skunked haha it should be cool though

I haven't fished for Trout here in Jersey since I was a teenager. Lately I used to take the kids to Atlantic Highlands and go out on a party boat for Summer Founder or Fluke. But lately, the min sizes have become so restrictive for Fluke that it's not worth going anymore.
