[I'll give the obligatory "Don't go too hard on me ", but seriously, don't go too hard on me

The stick in question is a PAM 64 Monarca. My first one. The first thing I noticed about the stick was the cap. It was the cigar equivalent of a Yamaka....it didn't really cover much of the head, and it wasn't directly on top. "Well, nothing I can do about it now" so I make the cut.
Pre-light draw was of a touch of cocoa. The draw was very firm but I couldn't really take anymore of the head off, I was already worried about unraveling.
We were at the beach and it was a bit windy so I got inside my jeep for the light. Nice even burn, off to hit the sand.
In the first third, I was picking up a little bit of nuttiness, with some nice hits of coffee. The ash isn't the best I've seen, grayish and flaky. it made it about a half inch or so before falling to the ground.
The second third it mellowed a bit and turned earthy. Draw was still firm, but hasn't required a touch up yet despite the wind.
Approaching the end of the second act the girlfriend wanted to walk down the beach (It was her birthday yesterday). Between the wind and neglecting the cigar, it went out.
When we got back to the towels, i knocked out the ash and lit up again. At this point i'm close to the band so I took it off and of course there is glue on the wrapper. I'm beginning to believe this was rolled by the new guy at the factory. Probably utilizing Nicaragua's work release program.
So coming into the third act, I get punched in the face by a lot of cinnamon, and some nutmeg. Definitely unexpected. I just realized that we were also on the beach at Cinnamon Bay....weird. Anyway, I digress.
The PAMMY must have been plugged somewhere in the middle because the draw is now looser than, well you get the idea. Around where the top of the band would have been the draw was getting hot so I decided to set it down and let it fester to a slow demise.
Despite some shoddy construction, it was a great smoke and a gorgeous day. This is now in my Top 5...glad I have 2 more in the humi.
The rest of this St. Patty's day is a bit of a blur...Nick knows what I mean :bottle:
