So first thought out of the bat when I see the stick is it was a pig tail he tried to cut off. Thinking that, I feel if it thats what he did he did a very good job. Construction is great with a nice covered foot. I only have one bump in my stick other than that the construction is flawless.
So its a 5x44 as I measure it. So my first guess is a Kristoff Ligero Corona.
The first 1/3 starts of with lots of smoke. Immediately there is a lot of spice and pepper on the tongue and roof of my mouth(ught o probably not a Kristoff). Also in retro-hale there are some really nice cedar and woody notes. The first third of this stick is burning perfectly and I really enjoy the smoke through my nose. There is some slight sweetness and some honey tones I am picking up.
The Second 2/3 I notice the spice on the tongue starts to mellow. But their is still some spice there. This is a very well balanced cigar and I am enjoying it quite a bit. There is some sweetness combined with coffee tones on the back of my throat now that is really nice. The retro-hale is really has a lot of cedar in which I enjoy a ton. There is also a slight sweetness here. Right at the end of the 2/3 the spice on the tongue picks back up. The burn is perfect and I am enjoying seeing the rings in the ash.
The last 3/3 of the cigar has the same tones to me. This is still a really well balanced and enjoyable cigar. The cedar through the nose has mellowed some now but it still there enough for me to enjoy it. The spice is nice and peppery on the final 1/3. I have not had to relight the cigar once. I smoke slower than others but this is even surprising me for its size as this stick has lasted me almost 1 hour.
So right off the bat I thought this was a Kristoff Ligero Corona. Now I am totally confused as this stick smelled and tasted just like a Nicaraguan stick and Kristoff is made in the Dominican Republic. I do not believe I have ever smoked this stick before. I have not read the other reviews yet as I did not want mine to be tainted. I definitely will buy some when I find out what it is as I really enjoy a lot of cedar through the nose and that is why I think I enjoy Tats so much. I just have no guess at this point. Thanks for the contest flushy I really enjoyed that cigar.
