  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

...or people looking to get into homebrewing.

I just found out about this company called Brewhemoth. They have a KILLER deal on a pot at 16gallons with a valve for $140 shipped. I'm going to talk to the wife about letting me get rid of my current kettle so I can buy one of these. Hot damn that's a sweet deal.

Just a bit of an update for this thing. I finally ordered one and I got in just before the price increase. The kettle is top notch. It's not shiny like a Blichman but it is certainly comparable to a polarware pot or similiar. It is sturdy nice construction and the welds are perfectly done. I figure if you add a sight gauge for an additional $25-30 this kettle will serve you well and it's made to order right here in the US! I'm a fan to say the least. I'll be brewing in it tomorrow.

So anyone have a need for my old 40qt pot with a 1/2" stainless ball valve? I'm actually looking to sell it locally but if any of you are seriously interested I would ship.
