BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What pipe do you enjoy smoking on the river while you assess what to tie on?

I have an unfinished corn cob I've taken fishing a few times. If it gets wet no big deal, it was only a few dollars.

I too carry a corn cobb for the same reasons, cheap from a small country store, have yet to light her up though, but I know ppl do.

My alfresco puffers are all inexpensive Polish born models.
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, all of them are fine smokers.

We have a great pipe thread over on the Classic Fly Rod Forum for those that partake in both, though a very small percent are meant for the streams as you will see lol.
