I have been trying hard to break 80. I finally came very close.

I was 7 over going into #18 yesterday at Los Robles while playing in my regular Sunday group. On #18 I went 3 wood off the tee and put it just past the trees to make the dog leg left. I nailed a 7 iron 12' above the flag. I was on in 2, left with a 12' foot downhill putt for a 78. I 4 putted for a 81. Heartbreaking! 2 over on the front, 9 over on the back. Still one of my better rounds, but I thought I was finally going to break 80. Oh well, I guess I will have to keep my day job.

Wow definitely heart wrenching breaking crushing...aLl of the above. I'd be rethinking every putt of the three misses all week long. Sorry to hear but dam you're preTty good. I've struggled to break ninety for a LOOOoOng time. Done it only once a long time ago when I used to play two to three times a week. Now I'm lucky to get out there once or twice a month.

Dude I still shoot over 90 sometimes. Guitar Danny and I played a very very very hard course in Simi Valley, CA called Lost Canyon. I shot a 99 and that was just 3 weeks ago. lol I think they should call it Lost Golf Balls :tazerblas
