Ok I just wanted to ask anyone who has tasted the BS from this year.

I have had so e 4 packs from the last shipments and not bought a case of the new shipment.
Last year I got a full oatmeal coffee flavor this year I do not, I just wanted to ask. Is it me or does anyone else see a difference from this year to last year?

My taste buds might be off but just wanted to see what others have tasted?

Wish I could help but I just stumbled upon the breakfast stout this year and didn't have last year's.

Didn't care for this year's at all. There's a thread on BA about it being thin and artificial, and I wholly concur with that assessment.

Last year I worked through 2+ cases (it was killer). This year I have only had one 4 pack. It tastes more sweet and just watered down to me. I miss the strong coffee flavor in last years release.

To me it is still a great beer and will still drink more just not as much.

Had last years batch back in July on draft.... And it was by far the best beer that I have ever had.

I totally agree with this. I thought that the coffee had the same artificial taste like the coffee flavor in Frangelic Mountain Brown (minus the crappy artificial hazelnut).

I seriously hope this won't be the case for KBS on next release.

Damn, the one year I buy a 4 pack to try and they are apparently duds. Oh well, I look forward to them nonetheless.

I am relived and sadden, I know my taste buds are a little off but I knew something was a little different this year. I still have a case to go thru, it just won't be enjoyed as much.
