"I myself dabbled in pacifism once."
Gonna give reviewing a stick a try. Go easy on me, as my palette is probably not as refined as most here. Here goes.
Foundry War of Currents "Shoreham"
Size:5 1/4 x 54
Origin: Dominican
Wrapper/Binder/Filler: Unknown
Price: $6-8
Foundry Shoreham 5x54
1 week rest
Beverage-water
Construction- densely rolled, a little spongey. Nice triple cap with a light brown wrapper. Very little aroma and a few tight veins.
Prelight draw -great draw. Hints of fruit and green tea.
Toast aroma - pleasant mossy ash aroma
1-1/3-meaty beef flavor, good smoke production. Smooth smoke exhale and retrohale. Earthy wheatstraw and white pepper flavor on the finish. Light gray dense ash 1 touch up beginning of 2 1/3. 15min
2 1/3:
Floral with a light white pepper finish. Hints of vitamin N. Mild into good medium. Smoke smells of red oak ash. Towards the end of second third, a faint fruit taste. Stronger white pepper on the retro. Draw is getting weaker, double puff req.
Forgot to check clock
Final 1/3:
Draw improved. Turned into a strong wood flavor. Medium body. Slight bitter Birch flavor. The retrohale has a mild citrus/ grapefruit flavor. 3/4" vertical crack beginning to form in wrapper, no affect on performance of burn. Nice ending of american, mild bright/Virginia tobacco. 2nd ash fell at 49min. Last inch, all nice tobacco and ash, still pleasant.
Overall a decent stick for those who enjoy a medium easy going, simple stick. Nothing special or memorable to me.
Total time:1hr 3min
