Hi, I´m new here and if anyone are interested of growing tobacco seeds in buckets, I put some links to my blog (a lot of pictures)
The meaning in february 2017 was that to grow tobacco to my pipe smoking, therefore a ordered seeds of; Rustica, Ahus, Virginia Brightleaf, Prilep P66 and some more.
Of my first try it went ok I think, most of the plants survived (68 buckets)

For 2018 I have the following seeds:
Connecticut Broadleaf
Wisconsin 901
Pennsylvania Red
Havana 142
Habano 2000
Cuban Criollo 98
(I hope it´s ok to link to my blog, there are no financial interest in this)

Thank you for posting! Do you have a plan for curing and/or fermenting any of your cigar leaf? I hope you post pictures and progress here as well, I personally love this stuff.

Hi, all the leafs are fermented and I´ve done approx 90 cigars, but I believe that they need some rest in the humidor over the winter. The leafs is too fresh, I think.

Thank you Blisscigarco, I´m trying to learn how to roll from your youtube videos, these clips are great but my homegrown "wrappers" are not. :joyful:
I have ordered some leafs from WLT so hopefully I get a nicer look on my cigars.
This stack here looks very good. What do you reckon is not working out with your wrappers? What seeds are you using for your "wrappers," and are they sun-grown or shade-grown?

Your slideshow is so inspirational! I have to show it to my friend in Skane. He has a lot of land and consumes a lot of tobacco!

This stack are from Virginia Broadleaf and they are so easy to tear apart, wet or dry. More training needed. :)
All of my leafs are sungrown, but as I have them i buckets I can move them around (if there is problems with snails and other beasts).
I was warned to grow in buckets, the plants should be tiny and small leafs, but my tallest plant was near 2 meters tall.
