Leaf Restaurant & Cigar Bar, the cigar-centric party bar and restaurant destination of Famous Smoke Shop in Easton, presents a primo dinner event starring Carlito Fuente — third-generation cigar maker and president of Arturo Fuente Cigars — starting with a 6 p.m. cocktail hour on June 13. The welcome reception includes a Fuente's Cut & Light station with exclusive cigars, photo ops, box signing, one-night-only deals and gifts. A rare item auction will benefit the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.
A four-course dinner at 7 p.m. by restaurant manager Evan Kechely starts with Sea Scallop Rumaki served over fresh baby arugula dressed with water chestnuts, lemon and olive oil, finished with white balsamic reduction, followed by Vidalia Onion Soup finished with truffle-chive oil and crispy fried onion. The entree is herb-roasted domestic rack of lamb entree served over mashed parsnips with smoked carrot puree and stained glass spinach. Desserts are strawberry shortcake featuring seasonal berries with house-made strawberry preserves layered with Chambord-brushed slices of angel food cake and Chantilly cream garnished with fresh mint and lemon zest. (Alternative menu items available for guests with specific dietary needs.) The price is $99. Call for reservations.
