  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Ok, full disclosure. :)

Just saying.....

Ok, down to business. good friend at my B&M texts me and says "be there in 5, don't spark up." I turned him onto a Dirty Rat last weekend and he prmised me something special. He is my cigar sherpa and the guy is a relentless chaser and veritable encyclopedia when it comes to sticks.

The Fuente Hemingway Sungrown! I mean, I knew it would be special, but I didn't know it would be epic. :)

Pre-light and draw

blah, blah, blah.....I couldn't wait after snipping and smelling and just sparked. (go ahead, file suit)

KA-BLAMY, Batman! This stick means business. Huge spice and tobacco flavors right after the spark.

This thing is not for the faint of heart or newbies on an empty stomach. This is big-time. Less than an inch in I am getting cedar, raisin in a big way, as in EPIC flavor bomb!

Construction and burn are a given, but the pic says it all.

Full disclosure, AGAIN, I was going through this thing like a Grant went through Richmond. I am smoking it too fast but I can't help myself! Stellar tobacco and wood are at the forefront with just enough spice to make this an interesting smoke.

I am TRYING to force myself to slow down, but it's tough! :hammersma

I want to say that this cigar was complex and rich, but I wonder what else this cigar would have given me if I was able to pace myself?

I loved it, so shoot me! :cbig::cbig:

I am DYING to try some Fuente's!

My girl and I went to a smoke shop in Manhattan where I bought a humidor, and as a gift the store owner told me I could pick any two empty cigar boxes and take them for free. Jen is very creative and crafty, so she has "plans" for them.

One of the boxes she got was the Fuente Hemingway Work of Art.

Just the inside of the box nearly has me salivating...the smell!!

Jealous. Not only of the liquor, but also of the stick. I forgot to see if my B&M still had any in stock when I was there the other day. Been meaning to get a few. One to try now and a couple to let sit a while.

Ha. I'm usually the opposite. I started with CAO, Fuente, Dona Flor, Perdomo, all I do is branch out these days.
