  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I won't smoke em' younger than 1 year old now......i've made that mistake before, and I've had more bad experiences than good.

If you can wait 2+ though, that's where they really come into their own...at least IMO.

I smoked a 10 year old FFOX I got in a trade from AR (thanks again Angelo!), and damn if that wasn't one helluva smooth, mellow, creamy smoke. Really had toned down, but the flavors were just awesome.

Best advice I ever got on Fuente Holiday stuff...

Age the Opus, and smoke the Anejos (fresh or whenever...they're good to go from the jump).

I've had one fresh and one aged. Aged definitely did wonders for them IMO.

I love'em anyway, it don't matter... BUT if you're looking for a super awesome smoking experience just try a 10yo FFOX Dbl corona and you will not be sorry:drool:

I was speaking with a guy yesterday who says the xXx is the only one he won't smoke, because of the overwhelming cedar flavor. It is IMO 1 of the most "different" Tasting Opus out there.

Most of the Opi I have had have al be over 2 years old, and were just fine.
