Fumar Cigars Patriot's Day Celebration

Just thought I would share with everyone the Patriot's Day event we are hosting on Sat. 9/11/10, from 1pm-6pm here in Phoenix, AZ. All of the proceeds go to Fighter Country Foundation, a non-profit here in Phoenix benefiting the families of our airmen at Luke AFB. We will have lots to do this year, with food and drink (adult and kiddie) on hand for purchase. The AZ National Guard is flying in a Blackhawk AND Apache Longbow for display, as well a couple of Humvee and 2 rock walls to play on. In addition we will have a par 3 golf hole set up, a video game zone and Skype station to talk to troops currently stationed over-seas. For those motorcycle riders out there, Buddy Stubbs Harley-Davidson is setting up a memorial ride that day to conclude here for the festivities.

Admission is free to all and there will be plenty of cigars to smoke that day here in our lounge, so come on down and say thanks to the troops and join me in a celebratory smoke to salute the men and women who serve us all proudly!

I will be sure to take some pics and I hope to get some video of the helicopters landing in the morning. I will post what I can once I get a chance! I invite anyone and everyone who can come down to have some fun with us and smoke some good ones in remembrance.

Thank you all so much for your support yesterday! We had a great turnout, around 3000 in total, and had a great time. We raised a lot of money for the men and women of Luke AFB and that is what it was all about, helping them as best we can! I hope everyone had as much fun as we all did.

Roger that on a great event. Brandon was hopping busy in the store and there were great outdoor displays, food and music. John McCain said a few words as well as others. I spent a few minutes talking to an Army guy whose job it is to disarm IEDs and other bombs. it gave me a whole new respsect for what these guys do for us. All in all a great event and a great time.

It was a good time a little hot for me though. I know it was only high 90's. There was a lot people I know good food and drinks. The store was busy so I know the guys in there was like a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. I missed every body from here that was there.
