  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Finally set a date for the end of October this year. Been together almost 3.5 years so I might as well be married already. Going to keep it really small and simple, neither if us really care to have a big wedding.

Congrats AJ!

We went small too... Best decision we ever made... All the money we saved by not inviting our 300 closest friends and family  we put toward a "get away" wedding... And got married on a beach in Belize.. With just the two of us there (and actually spent less overall than a wedding in the states would have cost us if we had gone the "invite everybody" route...

Good luck to you and the bride to be!

Congrats Brother! I'm coming up on my first wedding anniversary this October. I was with her 7 years before we got married!! We had lived together for 6 years up to that point and I figured "what does it matter, we are pretty much married already."

But in all honesty, marriage is great, congratulations.

We are thinking about cigar safari in 2015, we wanted to go this year and have a little get away but other plans have come up, and she won't let me go alone lol. So maybe web will do something then. Trying to figure out the "wedding day cigar'ssssss"

This is where we went... (I cant recommend it highly enough)... was reasonably affordable... and the service was beyond anything I have experienced anywhere else.. any time...

We went during the "off season" (Feb).. and literally had the entire resort to ourselves for a couple of days before another couple showed up (also honeymooning)..

I initially thought "shit.. we're the only ones here.. they are going to run a skeleton crew.. and we're out here in the middle of nowhere...".... that didnt happen...

Instead, they waited on us hand and foot, every minute of the day... when we wanted to be left alone.. they disappeared.. but if we needed so much as someone to wipe the sweat off our brow... someone popped out of the bushes with a hand towel and a fresh margarita :)

We never ordered off the menu at the resturant.. the chef came out at every meal and asked us what we wanted him to prepare for us that meal...

If youre lookinng for a true "get away", again I cant recommend this place highly enough....

You have to fly in by small aircraft.... and there isnt another thing within miles of this place.... (I felt like I was arriving at Fantasy Island when we first got there)...

If you want to go play tourist... its a couple of hours to anything.. but they will gladly haul you anywhere you want to go (at no cost)...

simply awesome place....

we're planning on going back on our 10th anniversary just so we can experience it again...
