BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

i got a percoset...
but then they left me in the waiting room for 2+ hours and it had mostly worn off before the procedure began...
there is no experience quite like having someone cutting on your junk sack and then burning it without being given enough pain control meds in advance :sadcry:
it was a pretty horrid experience (not that most people endure what I did.. most people I talked to said they never felt a thing)...
I went home.. and my wife went to CVS to get my post op prescription filled...
while she was gone, I cracked a magnum of wine, whipped out a bag of frozen peas to sit on, and proceeded to drink the entire bottle before she returned lol... felt no pain at all (and was asleep in an hour)..
by the time I woke up (next morning) it was all over.. no real pain or discomfort at all..

As I read your post, I looked down and realized that I was holding my marbles...Best of luck to the junk. I have always believed that the natural approach is best to medication. Wine beats Percocet hands down, if taken without moderation!
Just got this done in June. I was freaking like a mad man. Doctor pretty much called me a pussy. Hahaha. It was actually fine tho. When they tell you to relax for awhile, JUST RELAX! Trust me. They told me not to lift anything heavy for a week. I went exactly one week, and went back to the gym. Dumb mistake. I still felt a little discomfort. Honestly, just chill for a couple of weeks if you can and youll be good. And btw, its the best thing ever after its done. No more worrying.
Btw, I didnt take any meds. They numbed the area, and away they went. He wrote me a script for after, but i never filled it. You prob wont have to.

forgot to add the "best" part of the experience..
the doc had two nursing students (one hot.. one not so much...) "observing" the procedure... (he asked my permission.. I said yes... dumb mistake..)...
he then sprayed me with a very cold topical antiseptic/local anesthesia....
I should have said "there is no experience quite like having someone cutting on your junk sack and then burning it without being given enough pain control meds in advance.. after being sprayed with cold substances.. and then having a couple of 20 year old cute female students watch!" lol....

I had to have it done TWICE...
First time after about 15 minutes in, i said I'm getting nauseated, he called about 5 more freaking nurses into the room to help keep me from getting sick. Did learn a trick i still use though, ANY time i get a little nauseated i sniff an alcohol wipe... Instant relief, hung over, stomach bug, smoke to much whatever, the smell of the rubbing alcohol does the trick!
after the 3 month test doc called and said I've got good and bad news...
Good news was the second one was "on the house" except i ended up in a hospital operating room and rent on that room for an hour or so wasnt cheap.... I was knocked completely unconscious the second go around...

Apparently it's a lot more invasive and less reversible.Whatever happened to women getting their "tubes tied".

Not to worry Bro, just a lil twinge , over before u know it....
Get a couple bags of frozen pea's n rest easy for the day, a couple of adult beverages will help also....
Just watch out for the animals and the kids wanting to play .....
