  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Cigar: God of Fire by Carlito 2006 Double Robusto (5.75 x 52)

Cost: $20

Drink: Coca-Cola (the best cola)

Appearance: This has a cameroon wrapper on it. There were no veins showing. The bands are on this cigar are simply awesome. The appearance gets a 9/10

Pre-Light: It has a flavor that reminds me of butterscotch.

Taste of the cigar: This cigar has a sweet and woodsy flavor to it. I also picked up a leathery flavor at some points.

Construction: Held a long ash. The draw was perfect. The cigar required no touchups.

Strength: This was a medium-full cigar with it being more on the full side.

Summary: This cigar was absolutely delicious. I would buy a couple of these again. I give it a 9/10.

Great review and pics! This has been a cigar I've been wanting to try for a long time now, glad you got to enjoy one, bro! I hear the Carlito is better than the Don Carlos version (having not had either, I can't comment).

:santa:
I had one this past Christmas nite the 25th, not the 24th, as a special treat. It had been gifted to me a few months earlier.
Man, what a special cigar! And I'm no particular fan of Fuente in general, but GOF is the exception that proves the rule.
Darn, how I hate it when something really expensive actually is really superb.
It proves that the stupidly expensive price is actually justified.
Too bad I was starting to get that blasted winter cold, so my palate was only operating at about 66% capacity, and I've been jonesing for another one of them Carlitos ever since...
