BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

thats crazy i was fishing there all weekend, caught over 15 fish and never once seen anyone bring up a stingray.. we go to that pier there everytime we go..

It was wild when I caught it. Fought it for 45 minuted until it finally broke the water, saw us, and proceeded to almost spool my line. Fought it some more then I realized there was no way in hell we were going to bring it up from the water because the pier is so high. I got it to break the surface twice more before it finally wrapped itself around a pole and broke my line. It was HUGE, my brothers were pissed because they fish religously and I am real casual and I am the one that had it. Then one of my brothers sat on a trebel hook, he wasnt happy but it was kinda funny. We are looking at going camping at Manchester State Park and fishing there this weekend. Not sure yet.
thats crazy! i caught a small sting rey right there off the shore in san mateo... it was small but faught like a monster... i can only imagine what that one put you through.. and ya its nice out there we are going back in october... lol and trebel hooks are the worst... well they all suck to sit on haha i woulda been laughing too
I have fished at lots of places in the Sierra Nevadas. If you get a chance try fishing at Eagle Lake. The trout there are crazy. That place is up in the high desert though near Susanville. We were at Donner a few weeks ago but it wasn't that great.
Looks like a great time, And a successful one as well. I'm jealous.
