Google Glass Explorer Edition

I just got an invite for the Google Glass Explorer Edition....anyone have any experience with it? Is it worth it?

Its an expensive toy but the curiosity is killing me....

I have watched many videos online showing them in use and demos and it looks super cool.

Like you say only downfall is the $1,000 sticker price or so. If you can swing it I'd go for it.

Im in the construction industry with a large chunk of it being in roofing so I think it would be cool to use for maps when driving to estimates or taking pictures when im on roofs. I guess if I dont like it I can always pop it off on ebay.
