  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Got off my wallet...finally

@CVAC085 lol that sounds about right

Pre-purchase logic: I'm smoking more cigars so I need to spend the money on a nice lighter to make it easier, and more convenient.

Post-purchase logic: I just spent all this money on this lighter so I need to smoke more cigars which means I will need to buy more.

I have 4 that comes with me to the B&M lounge, then 1 in my locker that's already there. LOL.

You will enjoy that lighter! I did a full review of the Magma last year. It scored pretty well. My favorite part of the lighter is the very cool blue fuel gauge window! Leave feedback and let me know your thoughts vs mine. More importantly, big congrats!

I do stuff like that too lol, I'll buy a lighter or cutter and think to myself 'I could have bought several LP No.9's'

Have only had a chance to use it once so far since Buffalo, NY was somehow transplanted to the planet Hoth in the last few days (sorry for the Star Wars reference ;)). The one time I did use it was great. One of the easiest lights, and it feels great in your hand too. Doesn't get warm while toasting and even though it is a triple torch, it seems more like a soft flame the way the jets are angled.

I've been eyeing that particular one myself. I have a Xikar double torch but the thing goes through fuel like crazy. I feel like I'm filling it more than using it. 99% of my smoking is outdoors (though like you @BuffaloPat, I too am in Hoth right now) so while I prefer a soft flame, I need a decent torch. Keep us posted on how it goes over time. Also, where did you get yours?

I too have the double torch. I have to refill almost for every cigar. Very annoying.

I won't by Xikar lighters any more. I had one literally explode in my hand. The fuel reservoir ruptured while in use. Luckily, I was in my backyard, so I was able to throw it in the grass before I burned the hell out of myself. What was even better was that my email to the company about this went unanswered.
