  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Great time

I went to an event at PCB Cigars in Panama City Beach last night. Carlos Torano was there, he was very down to earth, super friendly, just a great all around guy. Talking to him about the industry it was so informative. I enjoyed meeting Peter the owner of PCB’s as well. Carlos is a wealth of information about the cigar industry. He always had this big smile on his face, almost like it was painted on, but in no way was he plastic.

I got two boxes of cigars, and a ton of free stuff. Have I mentioned I had a great time? Carlos asked me what I liked in a cigar, and I told him. He then introduced me to the line of cigars that may become one if not my favorite. It was the Torano Virtuoso Toro fabulous cigar with loads of thick white smoke. It had a creamy caramel with a hint of chocolate. It was a full flavored cigar with a between medium to full, to full strength. The draw and construction was as near perfect as I have experienced. I was trying very hard to come up with something that I could be critical with but I struck out on that. The Torano Virtuoso is must try for all. If you have never smoked one, believe me it is a loss.

I will write a better review of the Virtuoso later, but I want my box to rest for know.

The Torano Virtuoso has always been a a good smoke. a few years ago I would smoke one every day on my drive home from work when I used to have a 1hr drive each way. The best part is the price.

I’m going to enjoy the Virtuoso’s, and I will write a review of the cigars. If a brother has some that has rested for some time I would be willing to trade two are three of my fresh ones for the same amount of aged ones to write a review. I was so impressed with them; I’m having a hard time not burning one prematurely.

Glad to hear you had a great time.

I never was a big fan of Torano cigars and than Chris (CTaylor) sent me an Exodus 1959 - 50 Years, and I just feel in love with it!
