  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Cut: straight
price $6.40
Cold draw: nothing really in the cold draw except some faint wood
Light: jet line tri
Paried: room temp water

1rst 1/3: I always let it warm up a bit before i get to it. Front of the palete is black pepper and wood, room note is dried fruit. The pepper calms within the first couple draws. Pepper is minimal now, mostly wood some nuttiness and earth. Burn is good, smoke out put is good, its alot lighter than i expected.

2nd 1/3: everything has calmed its medium bodied. Sweet grass is the main attraction at this point some wood. Burn is a little wavy but wont require any extra attention.

Last 1/3: burn is worsening20160725_121411.jpg
20160725_121418.jpg Nothing but camp fire now and i put it down a quarter of the way through the last third because it became bitter.

final thoughts: it wasnt so bad good to keep around for a knock around smoke. I did like the evelotion of the flavors before it became bitter and at 6.40 i am not upset 82 worth a try
