Gurkha Assassin: The better Gurkha

After reading about this blend being one of their better, i decided to fire it up after work this afternoon. (6 hours watching people swim while being miserable from the heat inside the indoor pool deserves a cigar after!)

It was a very enjoyable smoke that fit my flavor profile. Not my favorite but it outran my expectations!

It kicked off sporting a very nice heavy pepper that was intertwined with a different but nice campfire wood undertone...the cigar mellowed out a little in the middle, and the spice came back at the end. other than that, no real big flavor changes; it kept consistant all the way through and i got a nice little surprize of chocolate at the end!

Have a few Gurkhas. Have a heard a lot of bad stuff about them in general, but there are a few that seem to get stellar reviews consistently. I will definitely be giving this particular stick a shot!

Had one of these a week or so ago. Not outstanding, but respectable. From what I recall your assessment matches my recollection pretty closely. I may have pick up another just to check, though.

I've heard a lot of good things about the cigar but I just can't get into it. I've had 3 from my 5er and have not liked any of them. I really haven't liked much of the new blends from gurkha though. Not sure what's up but glad you liked it. Nice review btw.

Personally I like Gurkhas... and I wouldnt hesitate to smoke this one either!
