  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Having heard from several sources that you either love or hate Ghurkhas they really weren't on my radar yet but I picked this one up on sales at a local B&M.

Cigar looked very well made. Prelight draw was excellent. It toasted and lit very well. The first 1/4 or so of the cigar tended to be a bit bitter but not overly so. (I thought maybe I over toasted it a bit) After that though it really mellowed out. From start to finish the draw was perfect. It burned evenly and the ash was nice and white. The aroma of the smoke was very pleasant. Normally I'm not a fan of large ring size smokes but this one smoked so well after a few minutes I didn't notice it.

I know Gurkha makes a lot of cigars and it seems some are good and some not from what I've heard but this one was an excellent smoke and I'm not going to hesitate to pick up some more.

Thanks for the review. This is actually my favorite Gurkha and really the only one I smoke.

If you like the Gurks, get your hands on the Centurion. They just had a sale on them at CI for 12 for $60.
