BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

HDM EE for me. The Mag 48 is good, but the the greater value, taste & smoke time is with the EE.
Yeah it's a tough call for me because I've enjoyed both. From a value standpoint I agree the EE is better but strictly for taste I give the Mag 48 the edge. Of course the Mag 46 and H Upmann PC are some of my favorites so I guess my palate is a little bit bias towards H Upmanns in general.

I think someone made a great suggestion. DO a box split on each.. Im sure you can find a willing accomplice. I actually liked the 48 better than the EE, but both are smoking well.

Me too. Sounds like I need to give the Hoyo EE a try.
I heard that these cigars have a rich flavor to them. Has that been you guys experiences?

It certainly has been mine. I got gifted some a year or so back and was very impressed. I had never been a great HdM fan except for the Des Dieux, but I found the EE to be rich and complex. I bought a couple of SLBs and they have been stellar. It is a relatively mild cigar. I typically lean towards much stronger smokes, but the flavor in these is simply wonderful and hard to resist.
Thank you for all your responses. Looks like the majority voted for the Mag, but a very generous botl offered a split on some EE's, so i'll give those a shot. I'll probably try the Mag in a couple months (too many LE Tatuajes to buy).
