My friend calls me up the other day, and her boyfriend's 30th birthday is coming up, and she wants recommendations on a lighter and cutter. So, I take her to the local B&M and show her what they have. She picks out the lighter (Xikar 2 flame) and cutter (DE straight cut). The assistant says, since it's for a birthday, let's get an empty box and fill it with tobacco shavings and give it that way. The lady brings out an empty Liga #9 box. My friend then proceeds to tell me to pick out 2 sticks to put on top so that he thinks that's all he's getting when he opens it. So, I go pick out a Liga #9 Corona Doble and an Undercrown Corona Viva! Done deal!

I felt very proud that my friend entrusted me so well for this.

Any of you guys ever been chosen by friends to pick out sticks for occasions like this?

@Sean I went to Churchill's in Old Town. I was also tempted to have Ann (assistant) get me a locker to rent. Oh how far down the slope I have fell... haha.
