I saw Danny's Longhorn avatar one day on CW. thought I'd shoot him a PM from a fellow horns fan. Came to find out that he was in Pharmacy school at UT, with my wife. They finally met and found out that they even had some classes together. I even bombed him with his 1st Cuban (Monte #4), by having it sent to class with my wife one day. then, I brought him out to a tialgate and kept turing him to the dark side. Now, he's on this board and having fun with the hobby. couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
then he got engaged, to another pharmacy student, who is very attractive to begin with, but to make it moreso, she even smokes cigars, which everyone on this board can surely appreciate. They will be wed in Dallas on December 30th of this year, and I wish them the best.
oh, I forgot, Danny had worked sokme through school for CVS. they offerred him a VERY LUCRATIVE position with their company, which he deserved. here's the best part. One of the CVS rfecruiters invited Danny to a Zdinner to discuss CVS benefit packages, that also served as a recruiting event ot hire more pharmacists. Danny called and asked if I thought my wife might like to attend. She did, and the recruiter called her the next week. After a brief meeting, my wife was offered a VERY generous position. By generous, I mean I really don't have to work, and we could still both get brand new cars and vacation to the Carribean one week per year, get a DLP huge ass TV, large cabinet humi, drink Cristal whenever we want, travel to all UT football games, etc. I don't say that stuff to brag, but just to underscore the appreciation we have for knowing him right now, sincerely.
We "owe" that to him and our friendship.
