  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hi guys. My name is Jimmy. I've smoke cigars on and off since 2004. My wife hates it, but occasionally tolerates it. I like medium bodied cigars generally. Some of my favorites are Fuente, Ashton, Nat Sherman Timeless Dominican, and now Padrons.

Thanks for welcoming me guys. Ok stupid question: I bought a box of 1964 Padrons and noticed they are significantly more peppery than the ones I've smoke from the B&M. My guess is the B&M ones were aged in the humidor for some time and were therefore smoother. Can I just put a boveda humidification pack in the box and then close the box to age them in their own box without putting the box in a humidor ? Is that okay? The Padron box is itself a cedar box so I figured it should be fine. BUT these weren't cheap and I don't want to mess up.

There's no such thing as a stubid question. Unfortunately I'm not sure of the answer. Someone will clarify this for you.
